Our Story

There’s nothing better than the taste of home. For me, that taste has always been borsch – a rich, hearty root vegetable soup that’s been a staple in Ukrainian kitchens for generations. Growing up in a small village in Ukraine, I was raised by my grandmother, who made borsch almost every day, filling our bowls with love, tradition, and the fresh vegetables from our backyard.

Today, many miles and years away from my roots, borsch still connects me to the heart of my homeland. Whenever I find myself missing Ukraine, I pour my soul into a steaming pot of borsch to share with my family and friends. 

Borsh isn’t just a soup; It’s a symbol of resilience, tradition, and love that has been passed down through centuries. Born in Ukraine and honored by UNESCO for its cultural significance, borsch has found its place in the cuisines of many Eastern European countries and continues to spread its flavor around the world.
